new release tuesday at two peas!
i have a new release in the two peas store today! it is called tole. i adore tole painting, although i have to admit, i have not done much of it. i recently began playing with my artrage studio pro software and am determined to get to know how to use it to create beautiful masterpieces like the tutorials tell me i can do. well, i am going to try. :) look at this gorgeous layout by faye, using this new kit!!
new year's resolutions? again?
it is that time of year when i promise myself that i will refrain from doing things that i enjoy. it usually lasts for two days, then i say...maybe next year. for instance, i started a 365 last year, trying to capture my life, one picture at a time. my 365 was a 3. so that was pretty much a bust. i so admire those of you who end up with a beautiful book at the end of the year. i am such a slacker.
so...this year, i promise the following:
to become a clean freak.
to slack less.
to take more pictures.
to realize that chocolate is NOT my friend.
to walk more & eat less.
to work less & live more.
to be a better friend.
to give my daughter the most beautiful wedding EVER!

send every one of your friends a christmas gift this year...here's how
christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, just like the song says. but...we all struggle with how many gifts we would love to give, versus how many we can logically afford to give. so...i have the answer.
christmas cards are dying slowly due to email and online greetings. but...you cannot put an email on your fridge! i love love love to receive photo cards from my family and friends. everyone can afford to do these and they are SOOOO easy! make someone happy with a photo this year. if you don't want your mug on there...use a favorite pic of your kids, dog, cat, or even your christmas tree. it does not matter what is on the card...it really IS the thought that counts.
i have a few ready made christmas card graphics in my store at two peas in a bucket, that you can plop a picture into and print just like a photo, if you don't wish to do it yourself. either 4 x 6 or 5 x 7. just add your own holiday greeting, throw it in an envelope and send it off. or even better, print it on post card paper and send it for even less!! the graphics are .99 cents. that is an inexpensive solution to sending some holiday cheer to EVERYONE you know!!
so get busy. it is december 4th...only 21 days till christmas!! cheers!
